What's this website do?

We employ a moderately sophisticated web-crawling robot to search various forums for the keywords you enter. Then we e-mail you the matches.

Is this service free?

Yes, completely. You can only have 5 alerts registered to one e-mail address, though.

Do you read everything on those forums - even individual posts?

Our web-crawling robot only searches thread titles. This isn't as much for the reason of technical ability rather than we don't want to consume enormous amounts of bandwidth and diskspace.

Can you search forum categories that can only be seen by users who have logged in?

Not at the moment, but we've got the code to enable that lying around here somewhere. It'll get implemented soon.

What kinds of forums can you monitor? vBulletin? Invision? phpBB?

Currently, our web-crawling robot is only compatibile with vBulletin 3 forums.

Any plans for the rest?

We'll certainly be adding support for vBulletin 4. Past that no plans have yet been made.
